Candy loves field work as you can see by her Started Retriever, Working Certificate and Junior Hunting titles but she is also very mellow inside which is exactly what we love. Not a posessive or mean bone in her body, she gets along with everyone very well. We did show her and she did well but she was more focused on the squeeking toys and food in the ring than showing and she was all over the place. So bad we had a few chuckles from the judges. Well...what can you do? She is home holding down the couch now.
Did you know that dogs are supposed to have 42 teeth total? There should be 12 incisors, 4 canine teeth, 16 premolars and 10 molars. AKC has now become concerned as many lines of Labradors are missing several premolars and that is against the AKC standard.
